Star of the popular series Euphoria on HBO, Angus Cloud, passed away at the age of 25.

According to a spokesperson, Cloud, who portrayed drug dealer Fezco "Fez" O'Neill on the teen drama, passed away on Monday at his home in Oakland, California.

The Cloud family remarked, "It is with the hardest sorrow that we must bid farewell to a beautiful human today.

Last week, Cloud traveled to Ireland to attend his father's funeral. His family claims that he "intensely struggled with this loss."

He was now "reunited with his dad, who was his best friend," they added in a statement, which provided some solace.

"Angus was open about his battle with mental health, and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence," the statement read.

"We hope that he will be remembered for his humor, laughter, and love of all people."

His reason of death is still unknown.

"We are deeply grieved to hear of Angus Cloud's demise. He was incredibly brilliant and adored by the HBO and Euphoria families, according to a statement from HBO.

We offer his friends and family our sincere condolences during this trying time.

Cloud appeared in two movies as a supporting role actor: The Line and North Hollywood. Additionally, he had made appearances in music videos for Juice WRLD, Becky G, and Karol G.

However, his career truly took off when he was cast as Euphoria's high school drug dealer, Fez.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that Cloud became a breakout star because of the role, and in the second season, his character was developed further.

In a 2019 interview, Cloud said that his true goals were not to become an actor or even a celebrity.

According to the magazine, he used to work at a chicken and waffle restaurant. One day, an agent from a casting agency unexpectedly met him in the street.

Cloud told GQ, "I wasn't sure what to do and I didn't want to give her my phone number." "I believed it to be a fraud."

Euphoria, which debuted in June 2019, gained popularity fast and, by 2022, was the most tweeted-about television program in the United States of America.

Zendaya portrays the lead character, a 17-year-old who battles heroin addiction. She can be seen injecting morphine and using the lethal narcotic fentanyl on screen.

In a 2022 interview with TMZ, Cloud refuted claims that the program promoted drug usage.
